Poster Presentation Categories

There are four categories for poster presentation proposals:

  1. Research CritiquesSee sample poster
  2. Literature ReviewsSee sample poster
  3. Original ResearchSee sample poster
  4. Original ProjectsSee sample poster

After determining your poster category, follow the appropriate guidelines to create a high-quality product.

Students who submit particularly strong original research proposals may be invited to present an oral presentation.

Student Presentation Awards

Learn more about Student Presentation Awards

  • In each category, an award is given recognizing particularly good work.
  • On-site, evaluators review your work and select presentations for recognition.
  • If you need to withdraw or cannot attend, contact the conference coordinator at least a week before the conference. Failure to do so may result in not being invited to present at future conferences.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Do proposals have to be tied to the conference theme?
No. While theme-related presentations are encouraged, WSKW welcomes a broad range of topics.

When will we hear back regarding acceptance of proposals?
Notifications are typically sent by July 1st.
