Young Scholar (G Arthur Broten) Presentation

The G Art Broten Young Scholar Presentation provides support for faculty and professionals launching their scholarship careers. Papers are peer-evaluated, and award winners present at the conference. Papers can be issue-based (e.g., white papers) or original research.

Presenters who decide to withdraw or are unable to attend must contact the conference coordinator no later than a week in advance. Failure to do so may result in not being invited to present at future conferences.

No. While theme-related presentations are encouraged, WSKW welcomes work from all disciplines.

Notifications are typically sent by July 15th.
What is the connection between the Young Scholar Award and publishing in the Journal of Kinesiology & Wellness?
Awardees are invited to submit their conference paper (or an expanded version) for journal review. The process includes invitation, submission, peer review, and editorial decision.
What are hot topics?
Hot topics are tags attached to presentations, either discipline-specific or theme-related. If your work fits a current hot topic, note this on your submission.
